here Like wood, bamboo requires maintenance. There is a certain amount of porosity in the bamboo bars due to the composite nature of the product and it is recommended that the bar positions should be rotated regularly to avoid water absorption when sitting in the metal boot. To prevent surface erosion, we recommend regualar oiling with a UV protecting penetrating oil such as 'Osmo UV Protection Extra.'

This is the same elegant design as our Adagio, only smaller. It uses
bamboo bars that slot easily into steel 'boots' and 'cuffs' powder-coated in mid-blue.
Slide the 'boots' along the base to extend the frame's length and the 'cuffs' up and down the arms to vary the suspension height of your hammock then secure in position using butterfly screws. Simply unhook your hammock from the cuffs to take it down - no additional fixings are needed.
