The Big Deal stand available with a classic rod hammock in warm tones of candystripe. This is quite a wide hammock at 145cm (4' 9") and as it is handwoven there is a little more give which means that it moulds to the shape of your body. The spreader bars hold the hammock open making it easy to get in and out and mean that it looks good even when it's empty. And don't forget to add the finishing touch with one of our scatter or plump cushions.
The Big Deal hammock stand is the same design as the Adagio hammock stand but with a little less height and length. With its slot-together design, the stand is easy to assemble or dismantle for storage. It is made from a hardwood, which when oiled up with a little teak oil comes to a beautiful, rich lustre.
The wood is also FSC certificated, which means that it comes from sources where the felling and re-plainting of hardwood trees is strictly regulated by the Forstry Stewardship Council.
The bars slot easily into steel 'boots' and 'cuffs' powder-coated in garden green (as shown) or mid-blue. Slide the 'boots' along the base to extend the frame's length and the 'cuffs' up and down the arms to vary the suspension height of your hammock then secure in position using butterfly screws. Simply unhook your hammock from the cuffs to take it down. For durability, we do not recommend that you leave your hammock out of doors when not in use
