Spreader bars keep the hammock open - so you have something to aim for when you get in and a firm base to get out again. Available with scatter or plump cushions to co-ordinate or contrast.
The stand is the same design as the Adagio hammock stand but with a little less height and length. With its slot together design, the stand is easy to assemble or dismantle for storage. It is made from a hardwood, which when oiled up with a little teak oil comes to a beautiful, rich lustre.
The wood is also FSC certificated, which means that it comes from sources where the felling and re-plainting of hardwood trees is strictly regulated by the Forstry Stewardship Council.
The bars slot easily into steel 'boots' and 'cuffs' powder-coated in garden green (as shown) or mid-blue. Slide the 'boots' along the base to extend the frame's length and the 'cuffs' up and down the arms to vary the suspension height of your hammock then secure in position using butterfly screws. Simply unhook your hammock from the cuffs to take it down. For durability, we do not recommend that you leave your hammock out of doors when not in use
Simply fetch the hammock indoors by sliding it off the hooks - couldn't be easier!
