String hammocks are a little unusual because they're designed to be lain in ACROSS the way (against the weave) and not end to end as with a narrow hammock.
Hang the hammock up and pull the sides apart - you'll see that it stretches out to at least the length of a fully grown adult and probably beyond that. This size really will take at least 5 adults before you run of space rather than weight capacity.
