The classic spreader bar hammock, interwoven from high quality, chunky cotton rope. As the bed is made without knots there are no pressure points to lie on and even our standard size is generously wide at 120cm - so no tight edges cutting into your shoulders. The spreader bars are treated rubberwood with smooth rope holes that won't chaf and wear the rope with use. Choose from simple single weave or deluxe double weave each in single or double sizes.

Hang these hammocks tight so they keep your back supported firmly with as little drop as possible and lie in them end to end. The advantage of a spreader bar hammock is that it stays open when you get in and out of it As they are made of natural coloured cotton all our of our cushions co-ordinate and they look great filled with cushions even when there's no-one in them.

They fit beautifully between trees or posts, across the balcony or veranda, from pergolas, in summerhouses or free- standing in one of our hammock frames.

Put them up between trees with our tree kit - snap hooks and rope, or between walls or posts using our all purpose kit - snap hooks, masonry plugs and eyebolts and this makes it easy to take your hammock in with the fittings still in place for the next time. For durability we recommend that you do not leave your hammock outdoors when not in use.

All of our rope hammocks stretch after first use - so please be patient ! If the hammock seems too short for your hanging space initially then bridge the gap using extra rope and take the rope out as the hammock stretches. Our hammocks have never failed to stretch - so you won't be disappointed!

USAGE TIP - To get in - place your bottom in the middle and gently swing your legs in - the secret is keeping central!
