Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.

On-line credit & debit card transactions are processed via Sagepay. Your card details are encrypted using the latest software & are processed using a secure server. At no stage during transmission over the web are your details visible.

If you do have concerns regarding on-line payment or do not have a credit/debit card you can still order on line. At the checkout stage you will be given the option to pay by another method. We are able to accept cheques.

Your Right to Cancel:

Our customers have the right to a "cooling off period" where all goods ordered from "HH" may be cancelled within 10 working days without giving a reason. Should you wish to cancel you will be responsible for paying for the goods to be returned in their original condition. NB The price does not include our cost of shipping if the goods are returned at the customer's discretion and monies will be returned to you within 28 days of receipt of your cancelled order less our original outgoing shipping cost. Please note that refunds can only be made to the credit/debit card you used at the time of placing your original order.

Shipping And Handling Where orders are recieved prior to 2.30pm weekdays, goods are normally despatched same day. Depending upon the product ordered, delivery will be instructed on a next working day or 48 hour service. The purchase price of all goods includes the cost of UK mainaland shipping. It does not inlclude shipping to Northen Ireland, Isle of Man, Scottish Islands, Isle of Wight or Channel Islands or timed/Saturday deliveries, (please call for details of these costs).

THE CARRIER WILL MAKE ONE DELIVERY ATTEMPT AFTER WHICH ANY FURTHER DELIVERY ATTMEPTS WILL INCUR A CHARGE OF £5.75 CHARGE PAYABLE BY THE CUSTOMER FOR EACH DELIVERY ATTEMPT MADE THEREAFTER.

We will charge for delivery in the following circumstances - .

1 The goods are returned to us at the customer's discretion in accordance with Condition 8 of our Terms and Conditions. In this case, where the goods are returned in the same condition as despatched, the customer is refunded the purchase price less our delivery cost. Please contact us by telephone should you wish to know what this is.

2 The goods are ordered for delivery to a destination outwith mainland UK.

3 The goods are ordered for delivery which is timed or on a Saturday.

4 The goods are returned to us by the carrier as undelivered.

5.The goods are returned to us as the customers discretion.

6. The goods are exchanged, in which case there is a delivery charge payable on the item(s) subsequently sent.

Delivery Schedule Deliveries within the UK normally take 1-2 working days. Occasionally, where delivery is by Royal Mail Standard Parcel service, it may take up to 5 working days. Please note, a signature is required at the time of delivery and if you are unlikely to be at home to receive the goods you can advise in the shipping note of a safe place that the goods may be left, but this is at your own risk.

Claims for non-delivery must be made to us in writing within 7 working days of placing your order.

For deliveries outside the UK we will e-mail you with an estimated delivery cost and time once your order has been processed.

Back Orders Although we maintain high stock levels, occasionally goods may be temporarily out of stock or on back order, in such cases we will inform you within 48 hours of receiving your order.
Tax Charges All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.
Credit Card Security All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software used by online secure service provider SagePay.

Guarantee We want you to be satisfied with your purchases every time you do business with us. So to make things simple we offer a "NO QUIBBLES GUARANTEE". If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase simply tell us upon receipt of the goods & return them in their original condition within 10 days - we will then issue a full refund. If you are returning goods as a result of our error, we will also refund the delivery charge. To make a return, please wrap the goods in secure packaging enclosing a note telling us why you are returning them. Please obtain a written receipt from whomever you chose to return the goods with (i.e. proof of postage).

If you are unhappy with any aspect of the service you have received & wish to make a complaint, you can e-mail us at: sales@handmadehammocks.co.uk.We will respond within 3 working days. If you prefer, you can write to us using the address above - again we will respond within 3 working days.

Privacy Policy "HH" will not send unsolicited e-mails to its customers unless it is in connection with their confirmed order. From time to time "HH" will run special promotions details of which will be sent to customers on our mailing list. Before your details are added to this list you will be asked at the checkout stage of ordering for your consent. If at any time you wish to be added/removed from our list simply e-mail us at info@handmadehammocks.co.uk.

We collect information about you for 2 reasons: to enable us to process your order & to provide you with an efficient service. WE NEVER PASS ON YOUR INFORMATION TO ANY OTHER ORGANISATIONS OR TRADERS, EXCEPT WHERE WE ARE OBLIGED TO DO SO BY LAW. We may occasionally pass on your address only in the case of a confirmed order to enable goods to be dispatched to you directly by a third party. The type of information we collect about you includes name, address and telephone number & e-mail address. WE NEVER COLLECT SENSITIVE INFORMATION ABOUT YOU & THE INFORMATION WE HOLD WILL BE ACCURATE & UPTO DATE. YOUR CREDIT/DEBIT CARD INFORMATION IS NOT STORED ANYWHERE & YOU WILL NEED TO RE-INPUT IT EVERY TIME YOU ORDER. What information we do hold about you will be held securely in accordance with the law. To make a return, please wrap the goods in secure packaging and particularly in the case of frames ensure the metal fittings are indivually wrapped to avoid chipping as we cannot give a full refund where goods are damaged. Please enclose a note telling us why you are returning them. Please obtain a written receipt from Royal Mail (i.e. proof of postage).
